Impact of COVID-19 pandemic on epilepsy practice in India: A tripartite survey

The ongoing global Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic, caused by a novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has affected the health care including neurologic care world over. [1,2] In addition to the direct affection of nervous system by the SARS-CoV-2, the COVID-19 pandemic may have indirect impact on patients with non-COVID-19 diseases [3]. This indirect impact mainly results from the reluctance of the patients with non-COVID diseases to seek medical care because of the fear of contacting COVID-19 infection and the reduced availability of health care resources for non-COVID diseases.
