Recurrent epileptic spells precipitate a number of crucial dangers during the attacks in patients with intractable epilepsy. Moreover, these patients suffer from neurocognitive dysfunction and medication side effects alongside their disease. There is a growing body of evidence revealing that seizures may result in aberrant neuronal plasticity in the originating zone after long-lasting attacks and consequently may lead to disfiguration of the natural synaptic structures [1–6].
