Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is a rare type of cerebrovascular disease that accounts for only 0.5-1% of all strokes. [1–2] Its etiology is complex and can be mainly divided into infectious and noninfectious. It is worth mentioning that new predisposing conditions (obesity, COVID-19, vaccine-induced thrombocytopenia) were identified.[2] This disease is common in young women, whose clinical manifestations are diverse and include headache (>80%), epileptic seizures (40%), hemiplegia (40%) and altered consciousness (15-20%).
