Predictors of seizures in patients with cerebral venous thrombosis in the Thai population: A retrospective study

Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is a potentially fatal venous occlusive condition that presents in the brain. Although headache is a common presentation in CVT [1], it shows insufficient specificity to trigger CVT diagnostics, which may cause delays in treatment. Moreover, clinical presentation that includes focal weakness, cranial neuropathy, or seizure tends to warrant neuroimaging examinations, improving the timing of CVT diagnosis [1,2].
