Neuropsychological Features of Mind wandering in Left-, Right- and Extra Temporal Lobe Epilepsy

The human mind can have thoughts that are unrelated to the current surrounding, frequently called “task-unrelated thoughts” or “mind wandering” (MW). Studies demonstrated that MW occupies 25 – 50 % of our waking life and occurs during almost every daily activity [1]. MW was shown to be a complex and multidimensional process (for an overview, see [2]). Here, we focus on the propensity and meta-awareness of MW.
