Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is a rare type of cerebrovascular disease, which accounts for only 0.5-1% of all strokes in all age groups (1) and affects mainly young to middle-aged adults (2). The main clinical presentations of CVST include progressive headache, focal neurological deficit, epileptic seizure (ES), and disturbance of consciousness (2).
